Jauron Knows Whats at Stake

There is a good article on the team page, about Dick Jauron, and what he knows the expectations are going into next year. After two 7-9 seasons, making the play-offs next season is a must for the Bills, and he knows it. This does make me feel better about the Turk promotion, knowing that Jauron made the hire fully aware that if it doesn't work, he's most likely unemployed after next year. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=5835

don't know if he will ever be fired by Ralph--he seems to love this guy and he can't do anything wrong as far as he is concerned

Jauron may never get "fired", he'll get promoted to the front office, so somebody else can get a shot on the sidelines.

That's 100% true in my book.

I'm actually surprised they didn't give DJ a promotion as well. It's obvious to all that he will wield more power now. Maybe he should be Vice President of Something.

In all seriousness, I actually like the idea of Jauron in a front office position some day. He seems to exude class, people like working for him, and he seems to have an eye for character and talent.

Couldn't agree more about Jauron,

he needs this team to make it to the playoffs. He has been a great coach so far and hasn't made me wimper about his desicions yet, like Mularkey and G.W. did in the past.

Generally if a coach is as good like Jauron you don't fire him. The players in this situation are more to blame then himself. The players need to step it up, imo.
