Sunday Bills News and Notes
I miss football. (Buffalo Bills football, that is.) However, the events we've got planned here at Buffalo Rumblings are sure to keep you excited until we get to see our Bills take the field again; we'll have much, much more on what you can expect to see this off-season at Buffalo Rumblings (i.e. essentially a full schedule of events) tomorrow morning. Don't miss it!
Super Larry Felser, as I fondly refer to him, says that Andre Reed should make the Hall of Fame based on the piles of clutch moments he produced during his stand-out career. Those moments, according to Felser (and I whole-heartedly agree), place Reed a notch above some other wide receiver candidates.
Bob Matthews asks the question: with Eli Manning turning the corner and playing winning football, is his '04 draft mate, J.P. Losman next? Whether or not you believe Losman has the ability to make a Manning-like turnaround, one thing is clear: if he does, it won't be in Buffalo.
Two former Bills head coaches are making news. Gregg Williams ('01-'03) has been relieved of his defensive duties with the Washington Redskins (after interviewing for their head coaching position four times), and is is now on the radar of the Jaguars and Rams. Meanwhile, Mike Mularkey ('04-'05) is the new O-Coordinator in Atlanta.
BuffaloBills.com has some excellent excerpts from Kevin Everett's new book, Standing Tall (available for purchase at the team's official online store).
Four Super Bowl losses, a Stanley Cup swiped, a Music City Miracle - need I mention more to agonize the city of Buffalo? If you smell a curse on the city, however, fear not - it has been lifted.

Begging the question
No, he does not.
""Begging the question" is a form of logical fallacy in which an argument is assumed to be true without evidence other than the argument itself. When one begs the question, the initial assumption of a statement is treated as already proven without any logic to show why the statement is true in the first place.
A simple example would be "I think he is unattractive because he is ugly." The adjective "ugly" does not explain why the subject is "unattractive" -- they virtually amount to the same subjective meaning, and the proof is merely a restatement of the premise. The sentence has begged the question."
Bob Matthews ASKS the question.

I appreciate the fact that you took the time to correct me. Now, it's time for this little confab to end. Let's play nice, everyone - the correction's been made. :)
