New poll
Hey Rumblings gang:
As you may know, the NFL Draft Combine starts next week, and NFL Network will have coverage starting Thursday (2/21). Since I'm a college student with a lot of free time on my hands (the job search hasn't kicked into full gear yet), I'll be watching as much of the coverage as humanly possible.
I've put a new poll on the home page in regards to players you'd like to be updated on as far as their Combine performance goes. I've put up some of the bigger names that may be targets of the Bills, but left off many of the really big names. If any of you have mid-round prospects you'd like to have updates on (especially if you don't have NFL Network), let me know in this diary and I'll do my best to keep track of things while enjoying NFL Network next week.

TEs
I don't have anyone specific, but I really think there are 7 or 8 tight ends bunched really closely together. Theres Fred Davis as the fairly unanimous #1 prospect at the position. But there is then a group of Martellus Bennett, John Carlson, Martin Rucker, Brad Cottam, Jacob Tamme, Dustin Keller and JerMichael Finley (and I might be forgetting another player or two).
If anyone of those guys starts to seperate himself from the group I would love to hear about it. Anything from reporting of times to repeating what is being said by the "experts" and especially if you see anything that stands out to you about this group, I would like to hear it.

Directv in my house!
Anyways....Phillip Wheeler!
Kaiser.....I'm REALLY interested in Finley, Keller, Rucker, Bennett and Tamme. Lots of good receiving TE's in this draft. We should not touch one until the 3rd round or later. Too many other needs based on what we can probably get in the 3rd.

Merling/Freak
I might be wrong here (and please let me know if I am), but I thought/think that Merling is sort of a bigger DE, at least compared to Kelsay/Schobel. That's what I like about him - a big guy that seems to be able to move.
I think this kid from Miami has the potential to be either a flop, or the greatest player from this draft.
[Editors note - if I awake tomorrow to reread this post, and find the comment I made above to be ridiculous, I will offer to retract it, as well as to blame it completely on Jim Beam's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Thank you.]
