I've decided that this Xmas I'm going to get my pal Sal and new pair of glasses. I'm referring to Sal Maiorana from the Rochester D & C. I heard an interview with him this morning regarding the QB play at St. John Fisher and he said in so many words that he don't understand what the difference is between Edwards and Losman. He calls Edwards "Capt. Checkdown" and that Losman is every bit as good as Edwards. Huh?! Isn't that what makes Tom Brady the great QB he is today. Sure he takes his shots downfield when he has it, but the majority of the time he checks down to Welker or one of RB's. Brady replaced Bledsoe because of his ability to make the safe, smart play  and not turn the ball over trying to force something. Brett Favre had one of his best years last season because he wasn't forcing the ball and dumped it off to receivers who then had great run after catch opportunities. Sal then went on to say that he is not a coach but he is sure that JP could run the West Coast type of offense that Schonert installed and be as accurate as Edwards. Sal, a bounce pass is a term used in basketball not football and JP has thrown alot of them in his time here. I never thought I'd say it, but I agree with SuperFan82 the Bills should part ways with Losman as soon as they can. Yes he has a strong arm so does Kyle Boller do you want him as your starter? Sal the difference is Edwards has 2 yrs in the league and Losman has 5 yet they both look the same.
