Bills Quotes from the Past Week

It's been a slow day in Bills land as we await Monday's start of mini camp. Here's a few interesting Bills tidbits floating around the Internet today...

Buffalo's new cornerback, Jason Webster, is relishing his opportunity with the Bills:

"Great things are coming," Webster said. "Last year, the wins and losses were very close (here) and they play hard here. I'm looking forward to being part of that work ethic and giving everything I have."

Webster, despite not having a great reputation from The Falcoholic, is growing on me. I'd still rather see him in a sub-package role with Kiwaukee Thomas starting (and still believe that will happen), but I like Webster's work ethic. He's a great veteran presence for our young secondary.

These quotes from Dick Jauron on J.P. Losman have me even more geeked about this coming season:

"He is definitely a lot more comfortable and a lot more confident," he said. "He's still a little rusty. He has had a good deal of time off -- and rightly so -- and he needed it. He threw a lot of balls in the last few years. Last year he threw a lot of balls and I'm not talking about just on Sundays. In practice all week he likes to throw. So we almost forced him to rest."

"He's clearly a lot further advanced then he was a year ago and we need him. We're going to need him to just get better every single day and not just him. We all know that position is critical. We've got to get performance from the quarterback position and he's the guy so there is pressure on him to do it and I believe he'll do it."

More on Losman in the coming days.

I'll be brief with this, although I could go on for days. SBNation.com, the home base for every blog in this fantastic network (including Buffalo Rumblings), has been renovated and looks spectacular. If you've been wondering what SB Nation is all about and just how far-reaching the network is, be sure to stop by the newly redesigned site to check the company out. I've only been with the company for two months, but I am very proud to be a part of this unbelievable network. Ultimately this little venture of ours is about you, the fans, so I'd like to thank each and every person who stumbles across this site and reads it for making my journey thrilling to date.
