SB Nation NFL Power Rankings: Week 2

You've seen them everywhere. We all love them - because while borderline useless, they bring up a fair amount of debate. Yes, I speak of the ever-loved NFL Power Rankings. But why settle for the usual rankings of the bigwigs when we can create our own? Thus, the birth of the SB Nation Power Rankings, conducted by the 30 NFL bloggers with this fine network. Finally - power rankings created by a group of fans, rather than a group of ex-players and big-media "experts".

Here's how it works: each blogger submits their own rankings. Fooch from Niners Nation tallies up the votes and creates each team's rating, which is merely the average rank for each team. With a little help from TheSportsGuru and Kirkendall, the tables are assembled and the rankings put forth. In the interest of saving space, the full rankings appear only when "Read More" is clicked; don't worry - we're going to talk about the Bills' rank right here on the front page.

28. Buffalo Bills (0-2) Rating: 27.11
- This is, sad to say, a fair ranking. The Bills are ranked over a full point ahead of the next two teams, Kansas City and Miami, and are over a full point behind the New York Giants. As of right now, the Bills are bottom-feeders; it is nice to see, however, that my peers here at SB Nation recognize that the team has a bit more potential than some of the other teams ranked in the basement right now. It's a bad rank, to be sure, but there's a shred of respect in the rank as well. The Bills are ranked sixth out of ten winless NFL teams.
