No Comp Picks??

According to Chris Brown The Bills will most likely NOT be receiving any compensation picks. The reasoning is that The Bills didn't have a net loss of free agents. Apparently to the geniuses who figure these things out, if you lose 3 pro-bowl players, but sign 3 scrubs who you cut in training camp, then all is equal. Am I the only one who thinks that is moronic?
So lets review:

Buffalo lost London Fletcher, Nate Clements, Mike Gandy and Andre Davis in free agency.

They signed Derrick Dockery, Langston Walker, Jason Whittle and Josh Scobey.

So lets get this right NFL brain trust, Nate Clements who signed the RICHEST CONTRACT FOR A DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL, is equal to Josh Scobey. Are you serious? The Bills are going to lose out on a possible 4th round pick because they signed a guy who didn't even make the team? To me this seems like the bigger issue that the league needs to address, instead of players with long hair.
