The Perry Fewell Era begins in earnest today. The Buffalo Bills are set to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars - winners of two straight and four of their last six - just five days after firing head coach Dick Jauron. The 3-6 Bills are battered, bruised and beleaguered, but Fewell begins his seven-game stretch as interim head coach with the benefit of extraordinarily low expectations.

Even against a team that has piled up plenty of questionable wins this season, the Bills are overmatched against the Jaguars, who feature one of the game's most prolific scoring threats in running back Maurice Jones-Drew. It will be up to Buffalo's cellar-dwelling offense, led by newly-christened starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, to move the ball, put up points and sustain drives to keep Jones-Drew off the field and assist the Bills' league-worst rushing defense.

Expectations are low, but this is still a winnable game. Perhaps the coaching change will inspire Buffalo to start the Fewell era off on the right foot. Time will tell, and until it does, as always, GO BILLS.
