On Tuesday, Terrence McGee underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

So during the week coaches have been giving me time to recover so I’d be able to play on Sunday. During the game on Sunday the majority of the time it would be all right."

When asked if he could miss any games as a result of the nagging condition or the groin injury Byrd is hopeful that he won’t. "I wouldn’t go that far," he said. "Next week we’ll know more."

Bryan Scott was getting reps at outside linebacker in practice Tuesday as an emergency option. Why not? Jairus Byrd isn't sitting down anytime soon.
