Bills, Levitre agree to terms

Less than an hour after my brilliant prediction that FS Jairus Byrd would be the next Buffalo Bills rookie to sign a contract, the team as reportedly agreed to terms with OG Andy Levitre.  The deal is believed to be for four years, worth roughly $3.6 million, and guarantee about $1.8 million.

The AP reported earlier in the day that the two sides were "close"; Mike Florio is now reporting that the deal is done.  The Bills themselves confirmed on Sunday.  Levitre should be on the practice field on Monday.

As we mentioned earlier today, DE Aaron Maybin, OG Eric Wood and FS Jairus Byrd remain unsigned.

Levitre is expected to emerge as the starting left guard this pre-season.  He'll have to unseat veteran Kirk Chambers, who has taken first-team reps in Levitre's stead and has experience in Buffalo's offensive system.  Veteran Seth McKinney could challenge as well, particularly after Eric Wood signs, reports and wins the right guard job.  (Trust us - that will happen.)
