NFL Wild Card Playoffs: Jets at Bengals Open Thread

Cincinnati Bengals (10-6) vs New York Jets (9-7)
Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
FINAL: Jets 24, Bengals 14

The 2009 NFL playoffs are set to begin, with the first Wild Card Weekend game taking place in Cincinnati, OH. As Bills fans, we're stuck watching the playoffs without the participation of our favorite team for a tenth straight year; yeah, that sucks, but that doesn't mean we can't still enjoy a little playoff football and a little open thread camaraderie.

Last week, the Jets clinched themselves a playoff birth by mercilessly crushing a listless Bengals team 37-0 in New Jersey. Today, the tables are turned, as the stakes are now equal for both teams, and this time, it's a home date for Cincinnati. Can the Bengals continue their inspirational '09 season, or will the suddenly-hot Jets stay hot against a team they know they can dominate? The winner will travel to either Indianapolis or San Diego for a divisional round game next week.

The authors of Buffalo Rumblings have made their game picks below. This is your open thread for today's first playoff game; predictions, in-game comments, whatever you want to talk about - this thread is yours.
