FOX's Adam Caplan, citing a source, is reporting that the Buffalo Bills will sign offensive lineman Colin Brown off of the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad. By league rule, Brown - barring injury - would need to stay on the active roster for the final three weeks of the season should the signing come to fruition.
Brown was a fifth-round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009, having played his college ball at Missouri. He was injured for his entire rookie season, and then was a training camp roster casualty this past fall. After the Chiefs cut him, Brown signed with Baltimore's practice squad, where he has remained all season.
A massive individual, the 6'8", 325-pound Brown played a little guard while with Kansas City, but clearly has the size to play tackle, as well. Should this signing become official for the Bills, they'll need to move a player off of their 53-man roster to make room for the big man.
