Bills vs. Patriots: Fred Jackson Honored By Bill Belichick's Praise

Yesterday, we spent a little time discussing how well Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson has played against the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick made a few waves by going above and beyond his standardized praise of his latest opponent in hyping up Jackson.

"I have as much respect for him as really anybody we've played," Belichick told reporters Tuesday. "He's a complete guy, does it all and shows really good toughness and can get the tough yards."

Jackson was told of Belichick's thoughts on Wednesday, and Buffalo's feature tailback was not just appreciative of the praise, but reciprocated it, as well.

"That’s pretty big praise coming from a guy like that," said Jackson. "I think that every player respects anything he has to say. For him to give me the praise that he did it’s something that I’m definitely proud of because he is one of the best, if not the best coaches in the league. For him to say that he recognizes me as a great talent is a huge thing for me, but I think I just need to go out there and continue to play."
