Bills vs. Browns: Buffalo Practices In Elements Thursday

Matt Warren is Associate Director of NFL coverage for SB Nation and previously covered the Bills for Buffalo Rumblings for more than a decade.

The Buffalo Bills had a split session of practice today with half the time spent in the cozy field house while half the time was spent in Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills are preparing themselves for the elements on Sunday which are said to be treacherous.

Fullback Corey McIntyre was back at practice after missing yesterday for a non-injury related absence.

Not practicing today were Geoff Hangartner, who has already been declared out for Sunday, and tight end Shawn Nelson. Chris Brown reports that Nelson's migraines are back. Nelson has been dealing with migraines for over a decade, according to the report, and they do not seem to be going away. It's likely Nelson won't play once again this Sunday.

Donte Whitner and Terrence McGee were limited once again on Thursday but participated more than Wednesday. Whitner is trying to come back from a knee injury while McGee has been recovering from nerve problems for the better part of the season. The cornerback is experiencing numbness in his calf muscle. Both had what Chan Gailey called "really good" practices.
