Wood targeting training camp -
Eric Wood is finally out of his wheelchair. "I have a lot of time before training camp which is my goal to be back by, so I’m not pushing it too hard," he said. - On this date in 1983, Kay Stephenson was named head coach of the Buffalo Bills.  He went 10-26 in his 2 1/4 seasons before being replaced by Marv Levy.
- On this date in 2001, Gregg Williams was named head coach of the Buffalo Bills on the heals of Wade Phillips' firing.  Williams went 17-31 in three years.  At least he did better than Kay Stephenson.
