Buffalo wasn't family spot for Shanahans - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan, in explaining why he didn't take the Buffalo Bills' job, mentioned that aside from the team, Buffalo otherwise was an undesirable destination. 'If I went to Buffalo to live there, from my family perspective, I think I'd be the only one that'd go. My wife and kids wouldn't go. Strictly from a weather standpoint.'" Says the guy who coached in Denver. I seem to remember mentioning something about this....

Bills may opt to pass on first-round QB : Buffalo Bills : The Buffalo News
"The Bills do not seem ready to give up on Edwards, who went into last season with high hopes after going 12-11 his first two years and completing 65.5 percent of his passes in 2008. 'There's three there that have got talent,' Nix said when he took the GM job. 'You've got to have some protection. It's hard to throw from laying on your back.'"

Union's pitch for capped 2010 shot down - Extra Points -
"According to multiple sources, the NFLPA made one last pitch to the owners to extend the old rules that the league operated under from 2006-09 into the 2010 season. That would've meant remaining under a salary cap, making all the fourth- and fifth-year players who are slated to be restricted free agents unrestricted, and keeping the current player benefits system intact. The owners shot the proposal down on Thursday."

He also met with the three OTs he didn't speak to on day one - Bruce Campbell, Vladimir Ducasse, and Selvish Capers. RBs and WRs are also in here but I can't list them all, too.

Where will Terrell Owens play in 2010? : Buffalo Sports Daily
"Owens put up very average numbers in large part because the Bills had no quarterback or offensive line to block for one either. That’s not going to change anytime soon. Looks like Kevin Walter will test free agency : Buffalo Sports Daily
"As we wrote about 10 days ago, there are few sure bets in this year’s free agent class and Walter is unmistakably one of them. If Ralph Wilson opens up the check book for just a few come March 5, it’d be astute to cut a nice check out to Walter."
