Bills sign DT Favorite - BuffaloBills.com
Marlon Favorite (6’1" 317) was an undrafted rookie free agent last year that was signed by the Carolina Panthers. He did not make their opening day roster, but spent time on the St. Louis, Kansas City, Seattle and New Orleans practice squads in 2009.

Bills' Mitchell pulling for an inside job : Buffalo Bills : The Buffalo News
"Everything has been moving right on track, right on schedule," Mitchell said. "We're hoping in a couple of months I'll be full go and should be 100 percent. With a muscle injury you sort of have to take it day by day. When you pull a hamstring you can't really run on it until it's ready or it might pull worse. It's sort of the same thing. You have to let it heal up and get to where it's just right. But it's starting to feel stronger than the other leg actually."

Bills owner does not want NY/NJ Super Bowl - Newsday
"The Jets and Giants owner remain cautiously optimistic that they can convince owners to approve an outdoor Super Bowl in a northern city for the first time in NFL history. But don't expect Bills owner Ralph Wilson to change his position on the idea. Wilson remains opposed to an outdoor Super Bowl unless it's in a southern or western venue."

Bills pick a Favorite - Pro Football Talk
"The 317-pound undrafted rookie spent time on four practice squads last year.  He could possibly play nose tackle in Buffalo's 3-4 system.  Then again, players that got dropped by four teams usually get dropped by a fifth in short order."

Bills sign Marlon Favorite - Buffalo Sports Daily
"Favorite will likely compete for a backup position on the team’s defensive line as they begin the process of finding more players who fit their new 3-4 alignment."

Make that young journeyman DT. Had a bunch of workouts for teams last season. RT @BUFFALORICAN86: @caplannfl who's marlon favorite

New DT is added competition – Inside The Bills
"Favorite actually was on the Panthers roster last summer at the same time as another defensive tackle on Buffalo’s roster, Lonnie Harvey. Harvey was on the Bills practice squad last year. Harvey (342) carries a bit more bulk than Favorite (317). Both of them will now be competing against one another as the Bills look for alternatives and depth for their all important nose tackle position."

Double shot of Fred – Inside The Bills
"Bills RB Fred Jackson will be appearing on the local airwaves at two different times Wednesday. Jackson will be on 97 Rock with Norton in the Morning at 8:45 am. You can listen online if you’re out of the listening area at www.97rock.com. Then later in the day he’ll be on the Shredd and Ragan show on 103.3 the Edge at 4:15 pm, and you can listen online there as well (www.wedg.com)."

After the US lost to Canada, PFR went back and looked at rematches of regular season games in championship contests. Buffalo beat the Giants during the 1990 season and the Cowboys during the 1993 season before losing to both in the Super Bowl. In 1964 Buffalo beat San Diego twice in the regular season and again the AFL Championship game.

Mon. night party for FB Patrick – Inside The Bills
"Several members of the Buffalo Bills Alumni will be on hand next Monday (March 8th) at Ilio DiPaolo’s in Blasdell as they’re sponsoring a "Monday Night Party" fund raising drive for former Bills FB Wayne Patrick. The 63- year old former Bills fullback has been battling heart and kidney diseases and has accumulated medical expenses that far exceed his health and medical coverage for such treatments of his diseases. All the proceeds from the evening will go to help defray Wayne’s mounting medical costs." Details following the link.

2010 NFL Draft
DT McCoy met with Bills - Inside the Bills
"In an NFL Network interview, Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy listed the Bills among the many teams with whom he interviewed at the NFL Combine.  Now the chances of McCoy making it down to the Bills at 9 is beyond a long shot, but can’t hurt to know the guy inside and out."

AFC East: Where Tim Tebow might land
Logic would suggest the Bills have too many needs to draft a project, but they do need a quarterback and have been susceptible to falling for splashy names that might sell tickets. Tebow's greatest asset is his PR factor. The Bills could use a boost there. Buffalo icon Jim Kelly has declared the Bills' need to pursue Tebow, but I'm not sure he's influential enough to orchestrate a draft pick. Draft probability: Medium.

AdamJT13: Early comp pick projections for 2010, Part IV
"The Bills signed two qualifying players and lost two qualifying players, so they will not receive a true comp pick. There is an outside chance that the Bills will receive a "net value" comp pick at the end of the seventh round if the players they lost have a combined value that is sufficiently more than the combined value of the players they signed. Whether that is the case will be determined by the final values of the players involved."

Mock draft 1.0: After the combine, Bradford goes first to Rams - NFL.com - Pat Kirwan
"9. Buffalo Bills: Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama - Buffalo can build the defense around McClain, especially since they are headed to a 3-4. He can play inside or outside." Bradford, Okung, Bulaga, Clausen, and Anthony Davis are all off the board.

FanHouse's 2010 NFL Mock Draft 2.0 -- NFL FanHouse
"9. Bills: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame - The Bills absolutely need a franchise QB. Is Clausen that guy? Maybe, maybe not. But after years of continually missing out on the top QB prospects, the Bills can ill-afford to pass on Clausen and be wrong. Developing a franchise QB in Buffalo should buy coach Chan Gailey and his staff a few years, at the least."
