Fan Friday 4-9 Inside the Bills
"I think there’s a chance that defensive coordinator George Edwards will want a linebacker that’s very familiar with the 3-4 scheme in the middle of that defense and that to me gives Andra Davis the edge to start next to Paul Posluszny. That means that Kawika Mitchell is likely the strong side linebacker on the outside opposite Maybin, which to me isn’t a bad thing. Mitchell is a good blitzer and certainly strong enough to grind with the tight end. I think he could be a good fit there."
Maybin’s weight situation – Inside The Bills
"Right now I’m in the (two) 40’s. I’m probably 245/246 right now, but I think that if I gain another 10 pounds I think I’ll still be around the same speed, around the same explosiveness, all that kind of stuff," said Maybin. "I just feel like whatever weight I feel comfortable with I’ll keep on gaining and if I start to feel like it’s uncomfortable at all then I’ll slow down, but right now I feel fine so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about."
