Bunting: Bills won't escape Round 1 without QB

We're about nine and a half hours away from the start of the 2010 NFL Draft, and rumors are starting to circulate around the league. From a Buffalo Bills perspective, we'll start with Wes Bunting of the National Football Post, who tweeted the following this morning:

Hearing the Bills will not get out of the first round without getting a quarterback.

Bunting goes on to speculate that the Bills could trade back from their No. 9 overall pick to select Florida's Tim Tebow, or could stand pat at No. 9 in order to select Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen. We've debated the various prospects up and down, but if Bunting's report is accurate, it's likely that quarterback is the team's number one priority entering draft weekend.

There's a great deal of comfort to be taken from that fact. Please be accurate, Mr. Bunting, sir.

Various rumors are certain to make their way through the Internet this morning, and we'll do our best to keep you up to date on all the latest hearsay.
