On April 7, 2009, Buffalo Rumblings turned two years old. We celebrated that occasion by pointing out the following two facts:

- In the blog's first two years, Rumblings had been accessed 1,170,173 unique times, and 2,801,327 times in total.

- In the blog's first two years, Rumblings was home to 1,078 registered users, who in those two years had commented 91,162 times.

Today, April 7, 2010, Buffalo Rumblings celebrates its third birthday. If the following two updates to the above factoids aren't an indication of just how substantial this fine community has become over the past 12 months, I don't know that you'll ever be convinced.

- In the blog's first two years, Rumblings had been accessed 1,170,173 unique times, and 2,801,327 times in total. In the last year alone, Rumblings has been accessed 2,866,325 unique times, and 6,739,250 times in total.

- In the blog's first two years, Rumblings became home to 1,078 registered users, who in those two years had commented 91,162 times. In the last year alone, Rumblings has become home to an additional 2,077 users, and 148,357 comments have been made in that time frame by the entire community.

I stated on my very first day here that my goal was to grow this site into the biggest, most vibrant community of Bills fans on the Internet. Our work is nowhere near finished, but I think we're on our way to bigger, greater things. I cannot understate just how appreciative I am that you've made a home out of this place, and I can say that despite some of the down days, I truly enjoy spending every day here with this community.

I'd also like to extend a word of appreciation to the editorial staff here, who make my life much more enjoyable every day thanks to their willingness to help out. We do this work purely as a hobby, folks, and I've never once had to ask any of the staff to write something for this site - the ideas and the effort are completely their own and top-notch. They do great work, and deserve much praise; we're lucky to have them around.

On behalf of the editorial staff here, thank you. Here's to many more years of what we hope will be increasingly better and more exciting coverage of the Buffalo Bills.
