"There’s a little bit more speed on the field than I thought," Gailey told "I think we’re a little faster and quicker than I thought as a whole. I expected the effort and I expected the enthusiasm. You get that from young players. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed on the field."

Nic Harris and Jairus Byrd weren't fully recovered from injury but were in attendance watching practices during rookie mini-camp. According to Gailey, James Hardy "had something he had to take care of."

"The players will be back in one week to begin an off-season conditioning program. Then, they'll be joined by the entire team when Organized Team Activities start on May 25th. Players are not allowed to take their Bills playbooks, but Gailey is encouraging them to study the notes they took the last three days."
