The rich seemingly get richer. PFT is reporting that the Redskins have acquired Jammal Brown. While we've been debating whether the Bills should give up a second-rounder for Marcus McNeill or Jared Gaither, Daniel Snyder has picked up Brown for what appears to be either a third- or fourth-rounder. Plus the Redskins get the Saints' fifth-round or sixth-round pick in the deal!
Either Buddy Nix called the Redskins during the offseason or he didn't. If Nix didn't call to explore the Saints' asking price, then it was either an oversight or supreme confidence in Demetrius Bell, Jamon Meredith, or Ed Wang. If the Bills did call, then Nix must not believe Brown to be worthy of that level of compensation.
