Ashton Youboty and Leodis McKelvin got some first team reps in place of a resting Terrence McGee... The safety position still appears virtually interchangeable... Steve Johnson was lined up at starting WR... C.J. Spiller saw some time at WR.

'No,' said Gailey. When asked if he was saying no to the first part or second part of the question, Gailey said 'both questions.'"

"I’ve felt pretty good," Byrd told following Wednesday’s practice. "I’m coming back into the swing of things, but the rest of it is just on-the-field stuff. It has to loosen up, there is some tightness in there, but the rest is just getting out and working it out on the field."

"I feel like we're going forward each day," he said. "As a football coach, it never goes well enough, fast enough or good enough, that's just life as a football coach. But we are going forward each day which is a positive. If we can not have the negative days, we've got a chance to be pretty good before it's over with."
