Just as ESPN's Adam Schefter reported as a planned move yesterday, the Buffalo Bills have officially re-signed rookie quarterback Levi Brown to the team's 53-man roster.

Brown will be the third-team quarterback, inactive on game days as the emergency quarterback, and will run the scout team during practices. He'll work behind starter Ryan Fitzpatrick and backup Brian Brohm.

Buffalo had a free roster space after yesterday's release of Trent Edwards. They'll need another one next Monday, when suspended tight end Shawn Nelson will return to the active roster.
