Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards wasn't out of work for very long. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Edwards has been awarded to the Jacksonville Jaguars on waivers.
Down the line, Edwards could have an opportunity to play for his new team. David Garrard is on thin ice, backup Todd Bouman was just signed off the street, and Keith Null was added to the team's practice squad today, as well. If Edwards was looking for an opportunity to play again in 2010, he's probably in the right place.
Should Edwards still be with the Jaguars two weeks from now, he'll get to play in Ralph Wilson Stadium once again. Buffalo hosts the Jaguars on October 10 for a Week 5 matchup.
