Report: Bills WR David Nelson Won't Be Cut

After a strong, surprising preseason, Buffalo Bills undrafted rookie wide receiver David Nelson appears to have made the team. Citing a league source, Aaron Wilson reports that Nelson has made Buffalo's 53-man roster.  Nelson all but confirmed the move on Twitter:

Officially a Buffalo Bill! Thanks to everyone for the support and prayers through this long- but rewarding process!! God is great!!

An undrafted rookie free agent out of Florida, Nelson caught eight passes for 90 yards with two touchdowns this preseason while emerging as the team's No. 4 receiver. His retention is not surprising in the least, but it remains to be seen whether the lanky rookie can carve out a defined role with Buffalo's offense in 2010.

Stay tuned for all of today's roster cuts, other potential player moves, and any practice squad news we can gather together.
