2011 NFL Draft: Von Miller A Hot Name Again

Prior to the start of the 2010 college football season, Texas A&M outside linebacker Von Miller was a hot 2011 NFL Draft prospect thanks to a 17-sack junior season in which he terrorized the Big 12. Miller, however, fell off the radar a bit, as he was a bit banged up and didn't record his first sack of the season until A&M's fifth game.

Miller is quickly becoming a hot name in the draft community again, however, thanks to two factors: Miller finished his senior season with a sack in six straight games, eight of his last nine, and 11 sacks overall; Miller is also a rising name thanks to the fact that elite pass rushers almost always fly up draft boards during the pre-draft process.

Teams that run a 3-4 defense will love Miller as a rush prospect, and Buffalo Bills veteran Shawne Merriman has already called Miller out by name as a player he thought highly of.
