The latest 2011 NFL Mock Draft over at SBNation.com has published, and in it, I've projected LSU defensive back Patrick Peterson to our Buffalo Bills, holders of the third overall pick.
But we've been down that road before, so instead, I wanted to talk about some of the changes that various Senior Bowl performances brought to the first round of the mock draft.
Von Miller and Cameron Jordan were the big winners, as Miller is a lock for the Top 10 at this point, and Jordan could be entering that territory. You may also notice that Jake Locker also moved up in the projection, but that really doesn't have anything to do with his so-so Senior Bowl week; it has to do with the curious draft tendencies of the team he's projected to.
Ryan Kerrigan, Nate Solder and Phil Taylor were also winners, while one injury didn't drop a player too far - Stephen Paea (meniscus) didn't participate in the Senior Bowl and may not be ready until July training camps, but there's enough on tape where I don't think it'll hurt his draft stock much.
While I take heat from Denver fans for the second overall pick, feel free to leave your thoughts on the mock either here or on the mock itself.
