Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that free agent defensive lineman Shaun Rogers - released by Dick Jauron and the Cleveland Browns last week - has been contacted about employment opportunities by "upwards of a third" of the NFL.
Rogers, who will turn 32 next month, has spent the last three years playing in Cleveland's 3-4 defense. He was replaced as the team's starting nose guard by Ahtyba Rubin in 2010, and was released because of his impending $5.5 million salary. Rogers has already visited with the Washington Redskins, but according to La Canfora will take his time in deciding where he'll play next season.
It's no secret that the Bills need to beef up their run defense. The 350-pound Rogers defines "beef". Feel free to speculate: do you think the Buffalo Bills have contacted Rogers, and if so, is he worth getting into a bidding war over?
