73% of Buffalo Rumblings readers believe that the Buffalo Bills should re-sign free agent inside linebacker Paul Posluszny. The team will also get veteran Andra Davis back from IR next season, and are reportedly looking to play 2010 sixth-round pick Danny Batten there, as well. Reggie Torbor, another veteran who spent most of the '10 season at OLB before landing on IR himself, is arguably a better fit inside than out.
Most Bills fans also believe that the team needs to bring in multiple new inside linebackers to help shore up the team's run defense. Which, of course, makes the fate of productive free agent Akin Ayodele an interesting topic of discussion.
Signed just prior to the start of last season, Ayodele, 32 this September, became a full-time starter when Davis succumbed to injury. He finished the season ranked third on the team with 101 tackles, but offered little in the way of blitzing and coverage ability. Still, at a thin position, he's proven to be capable - if unspectacular.
