Report: Cameron Jordan Set To Visit Bills Pre-Draft

New, comments

The Buffalo Bills, like any other NFL team, get a limited number of pre-draft visits and workouts to spend on 2011 NFL Draft prospects. According to various reports, we now know nine of those players, with the latest name on the list that of California defensive end Cameron Jordan.

Jordan, a senior, will reportedly visit not only the Bills, but Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay, as well, according to Joe Fortenbaugh of the National Football Post. Jordan has already completed a visit to Detroit.

After a strong finish to his four-year career at California - in which he accrued 34 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks - Jordan was perhaps the most dominant athlete at the 2011 Senior Bowl, though he did not play on Chan Gailey's South squad. Jordan measured in at 6'4" and 287 pounds at the Combine, with gigantic arms (35") and hands (11.1") - perfect for a 3-4 defensive end. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.78 seconds.

Jordan joins Cam Newton, Gabe Carimi, Ryan Kerrigan, Brooks Reed, Von Miller, Justin Houston, Kelvin Sheppard and Patrick Peterson as players reportedly visiting Orchard Park this spring.
