The 2011 NFL Draft will begin just 17 days from now. Fan opinions on who the Buffalo Bills should select with the No. 3 overall pick are beginning to crystalize. I'm of the opinion that we're still too far out from the event to accurately gauge the general consensus of the fan base, however. With that in mind, here's a little experiment: today, we'll ask you to predict which position you think the Bills will address in Round 1. Two weeks from now, we'll ask you to pick a player, and examine how the results match up. Let's start with three positions, and you can write in a vote if you like.
Quarterback: Unsurprisingly, Cameron Newton has gotten most of the hype to Buffalo, while Blaine Gabbert hasn't been much more than an also-ran. Even Christian Ponder has gotten more buzz in these parts than Gabbert.
Defensive Line: Marcell Dareus is the most often cited defensive lineman amongst the fan base, but several others - Cameron Jordan, J.J. Watt, Da'Quan Bowers and Nick Fairley among them - have gotten support, as well.
Outside Linebacker: Von Miller is the hottest name in the draft right now, but don't be surprised if Robert Quinn gets more connections to Buffalo over the next two weeks.
