We're still not sure if the NFL will play football in 2011, but the 2011 NFL schedule - for the regular season, obviously - was released on Tuesday evening. A previous report that said the Philadelphia Eagles would be the Buffalo Bills' opponent in Toronto was erroneous; instead, the Bills will host the Washington Redskins north of the border on October 30. Rumors that the Bills might also play on Thanksgiving were also erroneous.
The highlight of the Buffalo Bills schedule is a Christmas Eve home date with the Denver Broncos scheduled for Saturday, December 24 at 1PM ET. This is reduced dramatically given that the entire league will play that Saturday. Unlike last year, the Bills will not play 16 games in which they kick off at 1PM on Sunday; they'll get 13 of those, with the Christmas Eve game joined by two late-afternoon starts in the Toronto game, as well as in a Week 14 trip to San Diego.
