As proof positive that we're oh-so-close to the 2011 NFL Draft, today marks the one-year anniversary of the start of the 2010 NFL Draft. A year ago this evening, the Buffalo Bills used the No. 9 overall pick on Clemson running back C.J. Spiller, and the Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey era was off and running full throttle.
I am a huge fan of going back through historical threads here at Buffalo Rumblings and gauging the immediate reactions many of us had to that moment in Bills history. It should be noted that twice as many Rumblers (56% to 28%) approved of the pick than disapproved. You'll find a few classic quotes after the jump.
