NFL Draft 2011: Greg Cosell's Top Five Prospects

If you're on "the Twitter" and don't follow 31-year NFL Films veteran Greg Cosell, you're missing out on well-researched opinions on many prominent 2011 NFL Draft prospects. Cosell is reputable to the highest degree, and on Sunday evening, Cosell tweeted the names of his top five prospects available this year.

Based on his extensive film study and defining what he calls "NFL attributes" - skills that project favorably to the professional game - Cosell put Georgia WR A.J. Green, LSU CB Patrick Peterson, Texas A&M OLB Von Miller, Alabama DL Marcell Dareus and Auburn DT Nick Fairley atop his board. (Curiously, Colorado CB Jimmy Smith was a near-miss for that honor, as well.)

Cosell has also gone on record as saying that there isn't a Top 20 quarterback prospect available this year, and has provided detailed, multi-tweet breakdowns of guys like Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker, Christian Ponder and Andy Dalton, among others.
