A few weeks back, at the conclusion of the 2011 NFL Draft, I threw up a post consolidating the pick-by-pick approval ratings of all nine Buffalo Bills draft picks made this year. Upon completing that post, I was asked to put together a post with poll results from every pick we've ever covered here at Buffalo Rumblings. It only took me three weeks to get to it, but those results are after the jump.
Prepare to be collectively embarrassed at the snap-judgment prowess of the collective Rumblings readership, my friends. Marcell Dareus was not the most popular pick the Bills have made in the three years we've run these polls (we didn't have the functionality to do so prior to the 2009 NFL Draft), while Jairus Byrd was, by a huge margin, the least popular. Raise your hand if you were one of the two percent of Rumblers that did not immediately fall in love with tight end Shawn Nelson!
In general, you'll see a huge emphasis on name recognition, the position a player plays, and some extenuating circumstances (i.e. players passed up, etc.). There are still some real eyebrow-raisers here.
