Kyle Williams has been the main beneficiary of any lavish praised tossed the way of the Buffalo Bills for several months. That continued this morning, when Peter King (Sports Illustrated) listed Williams as the 27th-best player in the NFL. King is releasing his Top 100 NFL players list alongside the one being produced by NFL Network (and that does not include Williams).
At his position, King lists Williams ahead of big names such as Vince Wilfork, Aubrayo Franklin and Kevin Williams, while putting him just a few slots behind Ndamukong Suh and Haloti Ngata.
"Surprised at me having Kyle Williams 27 while the players, apparently, don't have him in the top 100? Watch some video of him," King writes. "He consistently occupies two blockers. Always moving forward. A machine. I remember talking to Chan Gailey about him last year. This is a man who coached Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin - and I do believe I have never heard him rave about any player the way he raved to me about Williams."
