La Canfora: Jaguars Targeting Bills LB Paul Posluszny

Insofar as NFL free agent rumors go in relation to the Buffalo Bills, it's been a relatively quiet day. Bills GM Buddy Nix made it clear earlier this afternoon that the team will try to re-sign free agent linebacker Paul Posluszny, but now it appears that one team has surfaced as open market competition for Posluszny's services.

NFL.com's Jason La Canfora tweets that the Jacksonville Jaguars, looking to upgrade at linebacker via free agency, are targeting Posluszny to that end.

In Jacksonville, Posluszny would be able to compete for a starting job at either middle linebacker or on the outside; he'd be a starter one place or another. The fifth-year player has said all along that he'd like to return to the Bills, and again, Nix and Buffalo's front office are going to try to make that happen. But Posluszny has also said that he'll test the market, and clearly, he's going to have more than one suitor.
