At his "Back to Football" press conference on Tuesday, Buffalo Bills GM Buddy Nix told assembled reporters that he expected his roster to be up to the league-maximum 90 players by the time training camp opened on Saturday. After the team announced the signings of 19 undrafted free agents on Thursday, the Bills are very close to reaching that goal.
By our count, Buffalo's roster now stands at 86 players. That count includes the three free agents the team can't officially sign until tomorrow evening - Drayton Florence, Tyler Thigpen and Brad Smith. It also includes the eight drafted rookies that have not yet signed contracts. It does not include tight end Scott Chandler, who has an RFA tender but has not yet signed it.
Be sure to check the link above for the list of undrafted free agents the team has added; we're too busy here to provide info on them right away, so head to the almighty Google if you're curious. Also, if you're looking for the roster in depth chart form, we've got an unofficial one right here.
