Bills Announce Rookies Chris White, Justin Rogers Have Signed

The Buffalo Bills have announced that the team has signed two more rookies to contracts. Sixth-round pick inside linebacker Chris White (Mississippi State) and seventh-round pick cornerback Justin Rogers (Richmond) have signed on the dotted line. The Bills have also confirmed a previously reported signing of fourth-round pick offensive tackle Chris Hairston.

That makes four rookies that the Bills have signed to deals on Thursday, including seventh-round pick nose tackle Michael Jasper.

White is part of a very thin inside linebacker group, and quite frankly, he's got a chance to earn some playing time very quickly if the team doesn't address the position via free agency. Rogers is currently the sixth cornerback on the depth chart.

Friday is the final day before training camp practices are set to begin, and the Bills will have five more rookies to get under contract lest they fail to report in time: first-round pick Marcell Dareus, second-round pick Aaron Williams, third-round pick Kelvin Sheppard, fourth-round pick Da'Norris Searcy and fifth-round pick Johnny White.
