In an expected announcement that nonetheless took a bit too long to come to fruition, the Buffalo Bills have confirmed that Sunday's Week 3 home contest against the New England Patriots has officially sold out and will be televised locally. The game pits the 2-0 Bills against the 2-0 Patriots - a team against whom they've lost 15 straight games.
This is the third sellout that the Bills have confirmed for the 2011 season. Last week's 38-35 victory over the Oakland Raiders was sold out, and the team's Week 5 home date with Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles is also sold out and will be televised locally.
That leaves just four games remaining on Buffalo's schedule in need of sellouts: November 6 against the Jets, December 4 against the Titans, December 18 against the Dolphins and December 24 against the Broncos. If the Bills can continue their winning (and entertaining) ways, we have little doubt that those games will sell out, as well.
