Bills vs. Bengals: Brad Smith Has Tormented Cincinnati, Too

The Cincinnati Bengals know only too well that Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buffalo Bills are capable of putting up big plays and points in bunches. Not only are the Bills currently scoring over 35 points per game offensively this year, but they exploded for 42 points against the Bengals in a Week 11 win during the 2011 season.

The very next weekend - in Week 12 of last year - the Bengals traveled to take on the New York Jets. There, they ran into do-everything player Brad Smith.

Smith was everywhere in the Jets' 26-10 win that night. He caught a pass for 23 yards. He took an end-around 53 yards for a long scoring run, and finished with three carries for 55 yards and a touchdown in the game. The cherry on top: he returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to put the game on ice, and did so wearing one shoe.

We talked earlier this week about Smith's minimal role as a Wildcat quarterback in Buffalo. You can bet that the Bengals aren't sleeping on Smith this week.
