The Buffalo Bills had a bye week last week, and so did the Buffalo Rumblings Podcast. And, like the Bills, we're back in full force this week as a Week 9 showdown with the Houston Texans approaches.
Last night, Brendan Harrington and I sat down to re-convene after two full weeks away from the mic. We forced ourselves to re-live the team's last game, a 35-34 home loss to the Tennessee Titans, and talked about some of the ongoing hot-button issues (Dave Wannstedt, Mario Williams and Ryan Fitzpatrick, oh my!) before turning our attention to the latest news and, of course, Sunday's game at Reliant Stadium.
This podcast is not for the faint of heart. The Bills have been a depressing lot lately, and the mood of the podcast is most definitely somber. But, like any great Bills fan, we use dark humor and unexplained blind hope to get through the tough times. We'd like your company for the commiseration.
As always, the podcast is embedded below. You can also stream it here, download it here, or find it on iTunes by searching for "Buffalo Rumblings Podcast". Enjoy, and we'll see you next week!
And while we're at it: Happy Halloween! We shared this earlier today via Facebook and Twitter, but we'd like the community's feedback, too. That thing you see below was Matt Warren't attempt at a Buffalo Rumblings-themed jack-o-lantern; we're looking for your grade on a scale of 1-10 (along with your snarky commentary; "the horns are too big" has already been taken). Go!
