Buffalo Bills backup right guard Chad Rinehart was a late addition to the team's Week 5 injury report on Friday, as he missed practice with a calf issue that he sustained during practice on Thursday. Bills head coach Chan Gailey told reporters after practice, however, that Rinehart was held out as a precaution, and is still expected to play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Rinehart is officially listed as questionable for the game, and he's joined there by free safety Jairus Byrd, who is dealing with a hip pointer. Like Rinehart, Byrd is expected to play on Sunday. He practiced both Thursday and Friday after sitting out on Wednesday. Veteran wide receiver Ruvell Martin is also questionable, though Gailey sounded a bit less certain about his availability earlier in the week.

Three players - left tackle Cordy Glenn, right guard Kraig Urbik and defensive tackle Spencer Johnson - have all been ruled out. Their reps will go to Chris Hairston, Rinehart and Alex Carrington this week, respectively. Two of the team's top offensive weapons, tight end Scott Chandler and receiver Donald Jones, are both probable after being listed on the injury report on Wednesday. Both players practiced in full all week.

With the two starting offensive linemen sitting, Sam Young and Colin Brown will be active for the first time this season. Young will back up at both tackle spots, while Brown will play at guard or center if anybody goes down on the interior. Likewise, with Johnson down and no more defensive tackles on the roster behind Carrington, end Kyle Moore will likely make his 2012 debut this week.
