The San Francisco 49ers now have a 24-3 lead on the Buffalo Bills after another drive full of big plays and a completely transparent Bills defense.
On the scoring drive, the 49ers got plays of 24 yards (Alex Smith to Vernon Davis on another wheel route over Arthur Moats), 31 yards (a Frank Gore run to the weak side away from a Bills blitz) and 15 yards (a Colin Kaepernick designed run). Gore capped the drive off with a one-yard dive, and the 49ers are now up by three touchdowns.
Making matters worse for Buffalo: San Francisco committed two penalties on the drive (a false start and a hold). That's how horrendous the defense has been today.
San Francisco is up to 401 total yards of offense on the day. 9:06 remains in the third quarter. If you thought last week's defensive performance against the New England Patriots was bad, well, welcome to this week, Bills fans.
