The Buffalo Bills have officially been eliminated from AFC playoff contention after yesterday's atrocious 50-17 defeat at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. As usual, the Buffalo Rumblings Podcast will be sifting the aftermath for worthy discussion points, and we're looking for your input on that front.
As usual, we're curious to know your offensive and defensive players of the game, as well as a turning point of the game. You're welcome to sound off on those topics if you so choose. But honestly, in a game like this, those talking points wear pretty thin. Instead, how about we discuss the following three topics; we'll feature some of the best opinions in the episode when Brendan Harrington and I sit down to record it in the next day or so.
- Buddy Nix has preached continuity, meaning it's unlikely that Chan Gailey is going to be fired. Putting your personal feelings about the head coach aside, is there any part of you that buys into the concept of continuity? If so, do you believe it applies in this case?
- If Gailey does return as head coach, what realistic "major" change would you like to see take place this off-season? Would any major non-coaching change feel like another example of scapegoating, rather than fixing an actual problem?
- If you were in charge of the Bills' marketing department, how would you sell this team to the fan base moving into the 2013 season? The catch: you can't say "C.J. Spiller" because that's the obvious answer.
We're officially in off-season mode here at Buffalo Rumblings, and that's trickling down into the podcast, as well. There are only two games to go before the misery ands and hope springs anew in the form of another off-season. Hang in there, friends.
