Lifeless Buffalo Bills Down 24-3 to Miami Dolphins After Third

Matt Warren is Associate Director of NFL coverage for SB Nation and previously covered the Bills for Buffalo Rumblings for more than a decade.

This game has been absolutely brutal for Buffalo Bills fans. Turnovers, penalties, and bad offense have plagued the team and they trail the Miami Dolphins 24-3 at the end of the third quarter.

Stevie Johnson fumbled in the first quarter and Dorin Dickerson fumbled in the third. Both ended promising drives but the Bills offense. Johnson also has two key drops in the game. Following the Dickerson fumble, Reggie Bush scored his third touchdown of the game on a pass from Ryan Tannehill to push the score to 21-3. Nate Kaeding added a field goal on Miami's next drive.

The Dolphins aren't doing anything spectacular but every call and bounce of the ball seems to be going their way. Buffalo's lackluster play surely isn't helping. The Bills ran just 13 plays in the whole third quarter and went three-and-out in their final possession of the frame.

Miami is driving to start the fourth quarter.
