The Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets will close out the 2012 regular season this afternoon at Ralph Wilson Stadium in a game that only a very small percentage of Buffalo's fan base is likely to see. The Bills have been shut out of the playoffs for a thirteenth straight season, and as Bills fans aren't interested in watching yet another crappy team play a meaningless game, the game is blacked out on local television. WGR 550 is carrying the game for those still interested in tuning in.

This is your open thread for the first half of today's game. We'll be covering the game as we do every week, but trust us, we're in the same boat as you: the futures of GM Buddy Nix and head coach Chan Gailey are a far more intriguing story line than this ball game.
