The Buffalo Rumblings Community Mock Draft rolls along, with the No. 32 overall pick coming at you right now...

With the No. 32 overall pick in the BR Community Mock Draft, 'Hybrid1486' and the New York Giants select Boise State running back Doug Martin.

"Running back is definitely a point of need for the G-Men right now," explains the GM. "Between the loss of Brandon Jacobs to the 49ers, Ahmad Bradshaw's foot injury, Andre Brown's suspension, and the mediocrity of Danny Ware and Da'Rel Scott, the Giants are going to need at least one body to bring in there to fill the depth chart. Even in the best case scenario, Jacobs needs to be replaced."

More from the GM after the jump. That brings an end to Round 1 of our community's mock draft; we'll re-convene on Monday to discuss our plans for an abbreviated Round 2.

"Martin is probably the closest thing to Jacobs in this draft, and actually has a better burst and better receiving skills than the big man," the GM continues. "He's not going to steamroll anybody, but he does bring a physical presence that definitely helps the Giants go. When they hit their stride at the end of the season, they were helped by both a re-invigorated pass rush and the duo of Bradshaw and Jacobs running at their best. When they can take the pressure off of Eli Manning and let him do his thing, they are the most dangerous team in the NFL - if you don't believe me, take a look at the last five Super Bowls and see who won more than one. The best chance they have to get back to that point is by taking Martin. Since they don't have any other gaping holes (aside from replacing Mario Manningham, something they probably wouldn't do at this point), I think Martin is the pick."
