LB Bradham, the first of two fourth rounders - BuffaloBills.com

Florida State LB Nigel Bradham was their choice with the first of their two fourth-round picks followed by LSU CB Ron Brooks at the bottom of the round."

Bills add second OT and LB in round 5 - BuffaloBills.com
"Buddy Nix said he would like to add two offensive tackles during this draft and he did just that by adding Florida State tackle Zebrie Sanders in round five. The Bills followed this pick up by selecting linebacker Tank Carder from TCU just three picks later with their second fifth round selection. Sanders and Carder both add depth to two positions of need for Buffalo heading into the draft."

OL Asper is Bills 6th round addition - BuffaloBills.com
"Buffalo added to their offensive line a third time in the 2012 NFL draft come round six. The Bills took Oregon OL Mark Asper. The scouting department likely found Asper’s versatility attractive as offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris always looks to drill his linemen in several different positions during the season in practice."
Transcript: Mark Asper Conference Call - BuffaloBills.com
Asper has played all five line positions and sees his versatility as a plus.
Kickoff specialist caps Bills draft class - BuffaloBills.com
"This guy is a kickoff guy he kicked through the uprights kicking off and if you can make, or kick the ball in the end zone and make them start on the 20 it gives you a much better chance defensively. Then it will be up to Chan to figure out a spot to get him in the 46, so he is active, but if he can consistently kick it in the end zone than he is worth that seventh pick."

Inside The Bills | Miles: Bills got good one in Brooks
"He brings violence at the point of attack. He can play inside, he can play outside," said Miles. "We’ve had great corners. He’s been in the position to play as a backup for the corner spots. He played a lot in every game. I think everyone has seen his ability to do that. He plays every down. On special teams he can return kicks. I think they’re getting a great pick there and a guy that will be in the NFL for a long time."
Inside The Bills | Bills get ‘A’ grade from Lombardi
"I like their top pick of Gilmore," said Lombardi. "I also liked the pick of Tank Carder a lot, and they got him in the fifth round. They haven’t closed the gap all the way on New England, but they got a lot closer with this draft class."
Inside The Bills | Bills roster count
"Prior to the draft Buffalo had 70 players count toward their roster. Under the new roster limit rules unsigned draft choices count toward the total. With nine draft selections that brings the Bills roster count up to 79." The limit is 90.
Inside The Bills | Why no QB was drafted
"We’re going to get one in free agency," said Nix. "We’re going to bring in a quarterback and we think a good one. We were poised to draft one and it just wasn’t there."
Bills have taken steps forward - Jerry Sullivan
"I can't sit here and tell you Saturday's late-round picks are going to be difference-makers. History shows that most of them don't make it big. But overall, it seems Nix and Co. assembled a bunch of tough, competitive kids who will fight for positions in camp. This draft class had a distinctive southern flavor. A lot of the draft picks played 50 or more games at major schools. At the risk of dredging up bitter memories, they appear to have targeted players with character and intelligence."
Twitter scoops NFL during draft - The Buffalo News
"Buffalo was the No. 5 metered market, with a 7.3 rating for the draft. Cleveland had the highest rating with 10.7, followed by Birmingham, Ala. (10.5), Dayton, Ohio (8.3) and Columbus, Ohio (7.3)."
Bills take pair of special talents on Day Three - The Buffalo News
"A history of accomplishment on special teams factored into the equation when the Buffalo Bills made their two fourth-round selections in Saturday's continuation of the NFL Draft. Both Florida State outside linebacker Nigel Bradham and LSU cornerback Ron Brooks were major contributors on coverage and return teams throughout their collegiate careers."
Storied past just part of Carder's tale - The Buffalo News
"Drafted by the Bills? Doesn't that belong a ways down the page from "Walked Again," which Carder was told he might never do after he suffered a broken back, a punctured lung and diaphragm to go with seven fractured ribs in a seventh-grade auto accident? "
Bills meet needs with selections - The Buffalo News
"We were able to fill every one that we set out to fill," said Bills General Manager Buddy Nix after Saturday's final four rounds of selections were finished. "We wanted two corners, two tackles. We wanted a wide receiver. We wanted two linebackers, and we were able to get those guys. We got bigger and we got faster. I just hope it was in the right spots, and I think it was."

WGR 550 - Richmond QB Corp Highlights Bills' Early Undrafted Free Agent Crop
"Corp began his college career at USC but broke his leg in 2009, paving the way for Matt Barkley to take the starting job. After backing Barkley up for the rest of that season, Corp transferred to Richmond in 2010 where he started 16 games over two seasons. Over the course of his collegiate career, he's completed 61.6% of his passes and thrown 21 touchdowns and 18 interceptions."
Leo Roth: For Buffalo Bills, the Buddy system works | Democrat and Chronicle
"I like that Nix has a plan and he’s sticking with it, building through the draft, grabbing free agents that make sense, and recently sending out word to everyone at One Bills Drive that it’s time the franchise became "relevant’’ again. After all, 12 years in a row missing the NFL playoffs is enough."
Buffalo Bills content they filled NFL Draft needs | Democrat and Chronicle
"You’ve got to be lucky for things to fall the way you want," said general manager Buddy Nix. "You can’t take guys just because you have a need. But we were able to fill every one that we set out to fill."
AFC East draft analysis - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"The Buffalo Bills also made some solid picks, particularly first-round corner Stephon Gilmore and second-round offensive tackle Cordy Glenn. Buffalo had a safe draft that should help the team immediately next season."
AFC East fifth-round notes - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"The Buffalo Bills had two picks again in this round and took former Florida State offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders and former TCU linebacker Tank Carder. Sanders is good insurance behind second-round pick Cordy Glenn. Carder is another linebacker who probably will have to work hard on special teams to make the 53-man roster this summer."
Bills add depth on defense - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"Buffalo's pick of Bradham was timely and makes sense. The Bills addressed most of their needs on defense through the draft and free agency but didn't get any outside linebackers. Bradham is a hard worker who has all the measurables to play the position."
Locking the doors - Naples Daily News
[Del Ackerman] moves as fast as he thinks and talks, sometimes leaving out big chunks of history along the way, like his little-known 1964-66 stint as a linebacker with the Buffalo Bills. "Sometimes I forget," he says, "everything that I did."
$200 million ought to buy peace of mind - The Buffalo News
"I know that fans are jacked up about next season. But the game with the highest stakes for Buffalo will not be played on the field. Let’s not roll over."
